Opening a Pathway to Recovery and Freedom

Why Shining Light?

We’ve witnessed the consequences of violent crime, painful nightmares all forms of abuse, as well as other psychosocial stressors triggered by chemical dependency.  We witnessed women in pain, fear, and hopeless about a future. The lifestyle of addiction can touch many areas of life and generating a crushed spirit, shame, and guilt. When addiction isn’t addressed, treated, and recovered, the outcome could result in institutions, jails, and death.

Love Yourself First Because That Is Who You Will Be Spending The Rest Of Your Life With

Connecting Families

After burning their bridges behind them, alienating family and friends during years of addiction, some addicts feel that there’s no one left that cares whether they live or die.

Giving Back to Others

Being grateful and giving back to others in recovery.  Sharing your experience, strength and hope helps others find sobriety and are more likely to stay abstinent than those who do not help others.

Hope

As we learn to trust the process of recovery, we gain the confidence to end our emotional isolation through addiction.

It’s Time To Heal

Psalm  107:19-20
“Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he rescues them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.”
